At Bethesda 's E3 2019 press conference, the developer showcased a new gameplay trailer for Doom Eternal , with a video and gameplay detailing the game's asymmetric multiplayer mode. Called Battlemode, you can see Doom Eterna l come face-to-face with a multiplayer, player-controlled Doom Slayer two player-controlled demon.

Demons can recruit additional allies and must work together to crush and kill the Doom Hunter. With teamwork , they can surround Doom Slayer and kill him before he can react fast enough. Rivals, Doom Slayer's will have access to a multitude of powerful firearms, explosives and knives. It's outnumbered, but it also has superior firepower.

The press conference ended with the announcement of the game's final release date for Doom Eternal .
