Destiny: Not Using 2 Private Servers

Unfortunately, the game will use peer-to-peer servers. However, this doesn't quite work like the previous game; Bungie said why it doesn't use dedicated servers for Destiny Two and that could cause a host issue.

Destiny 2 PC Demo

We found mouse and keyboard support with the game as welcome response as we could. The multi-player improved the overall feel, whereas the single-player episodes we played seemed to make it easier than we had hoped. You can watch the video below for technical view beta analysis and PC analysis;

Destiny 2 Review

If you're hoping that the game is significantly different from the original  Destiny , you may be disappointed, but those looking for a refined version of that game will be greatly appreciated. You can read our impressions of the full game on console in our Destiny 2  review diary and  during the Destiny 2  review phase.

Blizzard uses Battle.net

It uses Blizzard's desktop application. The first game not developed by Blizzard to appear directly on the platform. Activision and Blizzard have recently changed their names but will be referred to as Blizzard Battle.net until they move forward.

Destiny developments are not moving to Destiny 2

Unfortunately, there will be no transfers of Destiny 1 power, Eververse-related items, and currencies. While your character's appearance has not been abandoned for the sequel to console owners, there has been no statement to support any transfer from console to PC.
