DayZ is an open world game where you escape zombies and fight for your lives. The game has been in Early Access since 2013 and is ready to enter Beta status next year. Along with a Beta version for PC, the game is also being prepared for consoles.
Lead producer Eugen Harton discussed how 2018 will be an important year for the game on the DayZ website. "If the PC beta is on track to our liking, we're still committed to bringing the game to Xbox, where a large online community of gamers is looking forward to an online survival game," he said.
The developers wanted to propose a game they could call "perfect". The game went into Beta in 2018 after numerous tweaks, patches, bug search, addition of new features, mods and live content.
Developer Bohemia Interactive 's next focus will be on the Xbox version of the game, where a really tough fight for survival awaits a large community.
