Publisher 2K has revealed the first expansion for Civilization VI , called Rise and Fall . The expansion adds eight civilizations and nine new leaders, along with a variety of new systems to further strengthen the turn-based strategy gameplay.
In addition to new civilizations, Rise and Fall adds new troops, districts, buildings and innovations, as well as eight new wonders of the world. It also expands government and diplomacy systems, allowing you to forge new partnerships with other societies that can provide new perks. Grand Ages and Governors are characters that can be recruited to further customize the city.
Rise and Fall introduces a host of features designed to level the playing field in the next game when bullet civilization is hard to keep up with. These features also include a Loyalty system and other adjustments for cities.
It was announced that Civilization VI will be released on February 8, 2018.
