We are getting new details about the gameplay and scenarios of CD Projekt Red's highly anticipated game Cyberpunk 2077 . CD Projekt Red's Kyle Rowley has shared a wealth of details about the PS4 , Xbox One and PC game.
The reason for this, according to Rowley, is due to the high details in the game. “We spend a lot of time in this very elaborate cyberpunk world in Night City,” he said. "Everything is handcrafted, there's a lot of atmosphere. We really want players to feel this depression and have these mega-structures mark people's lives. To really showcase that and immerse the player in this world, FPS mode was the best way to do it."
One thing Rowley also made very clear was that Cyberpunk 2077 was not a shooter despite its first-person gameplay. "It's kind of an FPS mode RPG game. It has a very deep progression system, so it's everything you expect from a CD Projekt game," he said.
Beyond that, Rowley revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 lets you customize your character and play as a male or female, called V. There's also some sort of class system, although you don't pick one at the beginning of the game.
We got our first real look at Cyberpunk 2077 at Microsoft 's E3 2018 press conference, when CD Projekt Red released its new trailer.
