Call of Duty: Warzone takes a strong stance against cheating in the free-to-play battle royale game. In a blog post, developer Infinity Ward said it has a "zero tolerance" stance for cheats.
Infinity Ward has permanently banned over 50,000 players worldwide since Warzone's release. The company uses security teams that monitor game and data around the clock to investigate and identify cheaters. These security teams review all possible cheats and attacks, including target points and wallhacks. Looking ahead, Infinity Ward said it aims to improve its in-game reporting system to speed up the process of deleting cheaters and cheaters.
A "fluent" user interface could be designed that should allow players a "smoother reporting experience" in the future. The studio, of course, did not share all the specifics of its plan, as this could allow criminals to tamper with the system. That said, the developer said it analyzed and filtered out potential cheat reports "based on key data."
Infinity Ward said it hopes to share more updates on the number of banned Warzone players.
"We take all forms of cheating very seriously, maintaining a balanced and fair playing field for all is among our highest priorities." Said.
“Simply put, there is no room for cheating, ” he added.
