Borderlands 3 added a limited-time special event with Takedown on Maliwan Blacksite towards the end of 2019, but part of the event has been delayed. In late December, Gearbox announced in the details of the Event that it will make it easier for players who prefer to play alone to combat it. This update is a little late than usual.
In a new post on the Borderlands website, it was announced that the scaled version of Takedown on the Maliwan Blacksite will be available from January 16 to January 30. Now it will be a little easier for players who like to hang out alone.
After January 30, the event will revert to standard difficulty and will be adjusted once again for four experienced vault hunters working together – meaning you have to be extremely skilled to beat it alone.
