EA and DICE unveiled the newest series in the Battlefield series during a big live presentation to the world for Battlefield V. With the first details about the game's setting and features revealed, the publisher has announced the time when the highly anticipated game will hit the market: October 19 .
Like many contemporary titles, Battlefield V will launch in two packs. The Standard and Deluxe edition gives Deluxe edition players access three days early starting October 16. This also includes five sets of paratrooper suits, an assortment of Special Suits, and 20 weekly Airlift supplies, each containing one customization item.
As has been said before, Battlefield V is set in World War II. It takes place during World War II, making it the first series in the series during the conflict since Battlefield 1943 in 2009. It 's also Battlefield 3 's first game to host co-op camping. Combined Arms allows up to four players to work together in missions. Like Battlefield 1 , the upcoming series features a single player War Stories Campaign.
In the same livestream, EA also revealed that it won't be offering a premium DLC pass for Battlefield V , as it has for Battlefield 1 . Instead, the publisher will make a free post-launch content program for all players. However, players will still be able to purchase cosmetics in the game.
Battlefield V is coming to Origin for PS4 , Xbox One , and PC . Players will have the chance to play the game before its launch on October 11 with EA Access Play .
