Battlefield 2042 is officially on the horizon and the massive FPS game has been blowing the minds of FPS lovers especially since the Portal Mode exhibit shown at the EA Play Live event. DICE is hosting technical playtests for Battlefield 2042 prior to its release on October 22, and has announced in an email the minimum and recommended PC requirements required to run the anticipated first-person shooter, according to invitations distributed by EA through VGC. The game has been confirmed for both next-gen and last-gen consoles, with minor differences between them due to the difference in computing power.
EA has sent out invites for a series of technical playtests before everyone can enjoy the multiplayer action. According to the invitation, "several thousand participants" will have the opportunity to test the game on PS5, Xbox Series X and Series S and PC. The first playtest took place earlier this August.

According to Henderson, gamers will need at least 8GB of RAM and an AMD FC-8350 or Intel Core i5 6600K to run the game. DICE, on the other hand, states that the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti is the worst Nvidia card to run the game.
While the aforementioned Battlefield 2042 PC requirements haven't been officially confirmed by EA or DICE, Henderson's credibility with game-related leaks means it's close to what the developers would want from your hardware.
