Working on the highly anticipated RPG Baldur's Gate 3, Larian team members took to Reddit to answer some burning questions about the upcoming game. While many of these answers address the game's DnD 5th edition, other curious fans have sought answers as to how much Baldur's Gate 1 and Baldur's Gate 2 will impact the story. Creative director Swen Vincke expressed fans' concerns that Baldur's Gate 3 will not have much to do with the first two games developed by BioWare . "We really don't want to break the spell, but we wouldn't call it Baldur's Gate 3 if there wasn't a connection," Vincke said. Said."Let me just say that we touch on the story of BG 1 and 2 in meaningful ways, there are characters returning, and what happened in BG 1/2 / [Throne of Bhaal] will lead to what happened to BG3. You see this at the start of the adventure but you will quickly understand once you start the game. . "
Baldur's Gate 3 currently doesn't have a release date for early access or full launch, but it will come to PC and Stadia when it's ready.
