Apex Legends Will Surprise Titanfall Fans In Its New Season
Respawn Season 5 is full of surprises.

According to Respawn , fans of Titanfall and Titanfall 2 may be excited to see surprises in Apex Legends  at the start of Respawn's Season 5.

In an interview on Game Informer Issue 324, Apex Legends general manager Dusty Welch and game director Chad Grenier talked about the future of Respawn's Battle Royale game, one of which was "We're always bringing something from the Titanfall universe." He built a great world in Titanfall 1 and 2, and I want to make sure we highlight that. I'll say this: Season 5 could be a pleasant surprise for Titanfall fans. ' statements.

Neither Welch nor Grenier gave further details beyond that, but Season 5's tie-in to Titanfall would be added to the game on April 7 at The Old Ways event alongside a permanent Duos mode, with the arrival of Bloodhound 's town power. The arrival of the tech audience's town takeover was teased with a prop, a natural wolf-like creature native to the planet Leviathan (Titanfall 2's incredible Effic and Cause level setting). Perhaps, like Apex Legends leaving Kings Canyon after two seasons, the battle royale is getting another brand new map after season two on World Edge - it's set to take place in Leviathan.

Elsewhere in the interview, Welch and Grenier also talk about which of Apex Legends' playable characters are the most popular. Grenier says the rankings change from season to season, but Pathfinder and Wraith are almost always among the top picks, and Wattson is popular on the competitive side.
Stay tuned for more.
