Good news for the Apex Legends community , which has been waiting for the new legend to emerge for months, came from Respawn today. In the last episode of the Stories from the Outlands series published on the Apex Legends YouTube channel, fans met the new legendary Valkyrie . Acting as a bridge between the Titanfall 2 universe and Apex Games, the Stories from the Outlands series gives players an insight into how new legends are joining Apex games. Northstar in the title of the video refers to the Titanfall series of the same name . In the battle for Titanfall 2, Northstar is led by Kuben Blisk and Viper, an Apex Hunter with links to Ash, which further ties the story together. Northstar , one of the two non-shield defensive titans in Titanfall 2 , is also the only titan to have rocket or laser capsules that don't fold up on his back when not in use.

Northstar is a titan with the tactical ability VTOL Hover. As you can see above, Valkyrie also has a similarly named ability, which strengthens the connection between them.
Valkyrie is the daughter of Kairi's IMC pilot Viper, whose call name is Valkyrie , depending on the events in Titanfall 2 . The Viper is the character players fight and defeat while attempting to ride the Draconis as Jack Cooper in the battle of Titanfall 2. Blaming IMC commander Kuben Blisk for his father's death , Valkyrie pursues Kuben Blisk for revenge.
