Fast forward to the weekend for epic loot in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone , as Treyarch has announced that you can earn double weapon XP (experience points) over the weekend. The event starts on January 15th and will run through the weekend. The event will kick off right after the big mid-season update on January 14, which is set to add a new Fireteam map called Sanitorium, a 6v6 map called Dropkick, and a Raid map in Zombies Onslaught mode. Zombie mode will also have a new Crank mode that resets the timer every time you take down one of the undead.

Twice as many XP events will be active from 10:00 am on Friday , January 15th until 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 19th. This also coincides with the free trial for the Zombie mode, which runs from January 14-21 . If you decide to play the free trial and purchase the game, your progress will continue after purchasing the game.
