25) Arrow of Vengeance, Varus
The Darkins are immortal warriors corrupted during the Void Wars, and Varus, like the others, is imprisoned in a weapon. Varus was sealed in a bow and managed to escape centuries later when a pair of Ionian hunters accidentally stumbled upon him.
Both hunters came to be home to Varus, and Varus survived longer than mortal humans. But as their spirits resist him, Varus will make an unceasing effort to avenge him. This process will continue until you destroy those who sealed it.
24) Protector of Valoran, Taric
Taric was exiled from his hometown for deliberate neglect of his duties while living as an ordinary person in Demacia. Wanting to save himself, Taric decided to climb Mount Targon and was imbued with celestial magic on this journey. He became the new host of Aspect of the Protector and created the stones that surrounded his body.
Now the guardian of life, love and beauty, Taric acts as a powerful Support in Bot Lane. He protects allies with his protection ability, making him one of the strongest champions in Runterra.
23) Unbending Spear, Pantheon
Pantheon is a name used by Aspect of War and it has chosen a human named Atreus as its host. However, the Pantheon took control of his body as he did not find Atreus worthy enough. It was during this possession that Atreus witnessed the footage he saw of the Pantheon searching for the Darkins.
Eventually, the Pantheon found Aatrox and he died during the battle. However, Atreus survived the encounter and battled Aatrox on the battlefield. The constellation of Pantheon returned to the sky, and when he swore with his shield to protect all mortals, he became the reborn Pantheon.
22) Dawn Light, Leona
Leona is a reborn champion and little is known about her past. While she was protecting a child, she confronted someone who was supposed to kill, and she nearly died. But at this time she was exposed to the sun's rays and washed by the rays of the sun.
According to her new information, Leona is a staunch follower of the Solari faith and encountered Diana one day while battling against a group that was trying to convert her. Spirit Gods are beings who represent and are worshiped from different cultures, ideas, and civilizations. Janna is also one of these deities and takes the form of an elegant woman with long hair, white clothes, a tiara and a crystal-made scepter.
With thousands of years of life experience, Janna now protects the most vulnerable in Zaun. He is a very effective support champion and can create intense storms of rage when needed. But he usually spends his time serving as a beacon of hope.
19) Eternal Storm, Volibear
Many in the Freljord worshiped Volibear. In fact, many believed that he created the five Fjords with his claws. He is said to have fought and killed Rhond, a legendary magma snake.
Volibear is a Demigod like his brother and sister, and can control and summon lightning. Many people see him as the physical manifestation of storms and destruction, and he is the personification of the Freljord's power. He single-handedly devastated Lissandra's armies and blinded him with his own claws.
18) Ice Phoenix, Anivia
In the Freljord, many worship Anivia. Sister of both Volibear and Ornn, Anivia is a Demigod living in the Freljord. With all the strength of winter, Anivia uses all her abilities on ice and snow. His god status also explains why he can do incredible damage.
Anivia, a phoenix, is the embodiment of nature's eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth, and represents the spirit of the Freljord. Although Anivia has immense power, she is known as a gentle, noble, and humble person; she struggles to protect and revitalize nature. For this reason, Anivia is revered as the protector of the Freljord people and nature.
17) The Ruined King, Viego
In the League of Legends universe, death is sometimes uncertain. Viego died a thousand years ago, but returned at will to see his dead wife, Isolde, again. He was the former king of Camavor and his wife was assassinated.
He did everything to resurrect Isolde and attempted to capture the Blessed Isles. He finally succeeded, but Isolde returned as a ghost and injured Viego with her magic blade. This event created the Catastrophe and the black mists, and Viego was transformed into an immortal spirit that could control these forces.
16) Empress of the Void, Bel'Veth
Void is a universe outside of Runeterra and is known as the power of greed. While the Void has long sought a leader, Bel'Veth proves fit for the role as soon as he is born. His birth is the result of a port city and the surrounding ocean being swallowed up by the Void.
Bel'Veth is endowed with millions of years of accumulated knowledge and experience, making it an almost omniscient entity. The Void incarnate and destined to reshape Runeterra. Some see him as the God of Oblivion, a being with the power to erase all things.
15) Imposing Guardian, Galio
While the world of Runeterra has many powerful mages, Galio is the only champion who can stand up to them all. Galio is a giant who is exactly 100 feet tall, and his body is made entirely of petrisite (an anti-magic stone that is resistant to all magic).
However, Galio's biggest problem is that he remains a statue most of the time, as he can only be revived when an enemy mage appears fighting against the Demacian forces.
14) High Sorcerer, Xerath
The ancient Shurima Empire contained many powerful champions such as Azir and Xerath. Xerath started out as a mortal hungry for all kinds of magic to discover the secrets of the universe. After completing the required ritual, he was transformed into a completely unknown being, filled with mysterious energies, given infinite power and immortality.
The only way to stop Xerath is to seal him, but even that won't work forever because he can overcome him with his powers.
13) Star Child, Soraka
Soraka is one of the best supports in the game, as well as being an easy-to-use champion for beginner players . A member of the Celestials, one of the most powerful races in the League of Legends universe, Soraka can use her powers to heal; but this is only a simple reflection of its power. He was sent from the Heavenly Realm with his main purpose to repair the damage done by mortals to Runeterra. But after interacting with them, she decided to unleash their untold potential to help them discover the power of kindness.
12) Iron Ghost, Mordekaiser
Mordekaiser appears as a spirit imprisoned in a huge armor. After his death, he managed to challenge the Realm of Death, subduing it to his will. This allowed him to become a Necromancer who could summon and control an army of dead soldiers.
Mordekaiser is considered one of the most powerful ghosts to ever exist in Runeterra, and the only way to stop him is to detach him from his armor. While this is a temporary solution that will send Mordekaiser back to the afterlife, he will eventually bring himself back to the world of the living.
11) Rune Mage, Ryze
Ryze may technically be a human, but has been alive for hundreds of years and has been known as possibly the most powerful mortal mage in all of Runeterra. This mage has spent most of his life searching for stones of untold power called the World Runes. Which means that he's actually the weaker and less evil version of LoL's Thanos.
While collecting the Runes, Ryze had to battle extremely powerful mages and was able to resist the corrupting nature of the same Runes. It also has the ability to teleport, which is considered an extremely rare and powerful form of magic.
10) Darkin Sword, Aatrox
If played correctly, Aatrox is one of the strongest top laners in League of Legends and, according to legend, would be the end of all of Runeterra. Aatrox is a corrupt Darkin trapped within his weapon and forced to take over other bodies in order to be able to move, a human being altered by celestial magic.
Even before his corruption, Aatrox was the strongest of the Ascendants and is now believed to be on a mission to end all life in order to hopefully put an end to his cursed existence.
9) Aspect of Twilight, Zoe

Although this exciting little sorceress may look like a little girl from the outside, she actually has thousands of years of history. When he was young, the Aspect of Twilight bestowed upon him his power, thereby greatly slowing his aging until he became immortal.
These powers Zoe possesses allow her to move between dimensions, ignore the laws of gravity, and manipulate space-time. She is so strong that she can call someone like Aurelion Sol a "space dog" and not be afraid to tease him.
8) Two Sides of the Coin, Kindred
Wherever there is life in Runeterra, there is also death, and in this universe two beings named Kindred represent the twin essence of death. While the Lamb represents a painless and quick death, the Wolf pursues those who resort to violent methods to achieve his goal.
It is a fact that even the end of time is before the Celestials, and when that ultimate end comes, Kindred will be there and try to stop those who oppose it. Some champions can cheat or evade death, but no one has the power to kill death.
7) Cosmic Guardian, Bard
Although Zoe is blessed by the Twilight Aspect, she is not just as powerful as the Aspect. Bard may not look scary, but he is one of the most powerful characters in the entire League of Legends universe . The Bard only spawns in Runeterra when it is necessary to maintain balance. Like Zoe, she can travel between dimensions and manipulate time and space, as well as influence events on a cosmic level. This makes him equal to a god.
6) Ruler of the Stars, Aurelion Sol
In the League of Legends universe , Aurelion Sol is one of the strongest and oldest known champions , and his story goes back to the genesis of the universe. Aurelion Sol is said to have shaped the universe by creating and destroying the stars. Therefore, he is in a way a God, and his power allows him to create stars with a simple flick of his wrist. However, as long as it is attached to Mount Targon, it cannot destroy Runeterra. However, after leaving Mount Targon, he gains such power and can destroy the universe at will.
5) Lord of the Sands, Nasus
Nasus and Renekton are League of Legends champions inspired by Egyptian gods and are considered demigods. Nasus is depicted as a being called "Ascended" and is as powerful as a true god, but not a god in the full sense of the word. Anubis draws attention with his resemblance to the dog-headed god in Egyptian mythology.
In the League of Legends universe, Nasus is a renowned scholar and strategist in Shurima. It is his goal to contribute to the resurgence of the Shurima Empire and to strive to prevent it from falling again.
4) Butcher of the Sands, Renekton
Renekton is a champion based on the Egyptian gods. Also referred to as "Elevated" because he is a ferocious top lane fighter who has lost himself and has explosive power. He is known for his excellent lane sustaining, fast fighting, and discrete enemies. It can get challenging towards the end of the game, but still often preferred in professional games.
According to legend, Renekton and Nasus were once respected warriors in Shurima. However, Renekton, like his brother Nasus, became obsessed with the power quests of Xerath, a powerful ancient god. Now his only goal is to kill his brother, who has succumbed to madness, and regain their former honor. He also has one of the funniest skins known as Pool Party Renekton and is an easy-to-learn champion.
3) Ice Witch, Lissandra
The Ice Witch battles Ashe and Sejuani for control of the Freljord and shares the same lust for power that Syndra has. While the other characters on this list are mostly male, the Ice Witch is one of the rare female characters who can come close to them in terms of strength.
His story is quite impressive; because he invited the Void into the world and because of that he lost his sisters. The Ice Witch traps the Void creatures in the ice, but they are slowly breaking free. This looks like new champion opportunities for Riot.
2) Emperor of the Sands, Azir
The Emperor of the Sands was once a mortal. Then his arrogance somehow reborn him as an Ascended. Like Caesar, he was betrayed and then killed, but now he wants Shurima to be restored to its former glory.
He worked alongside Nasus, was best friends with Xerath for a time, and is technically Sivir's ancestor. Fun fact: It was Xerath who betrayed him and killed Azir's family. Anyone who wants to play him should know that he is one of the most difficult champions to master.
1) Fire in the Heart of the Mountain, Ornn
Ornn is another Freljordian, but has the spirit of a craftsman and blacksmith like Hephaestus from Greek mythology. He acts like the Freljord's grumpy grandfather because he'd rather go back to his volcanic blacksmithing business than travel the world.
Ornn's brother, Volibear, often heeds his advice, as he enjoys meddling in the affairs of mortals. An epic battle resulted in the destruction of Heartblood.
