Although eFootball PES 2021 is called a season update that will cost less, Konami is still looking to expand its forward football lineup with a few partnerships. The company announced this week its expanded partnerships with Sao Paulo FC, Corinthians and Flamengo. Konami is currently the official global partner of Sao Paulo FC and as a result their official jerseys logo will be displayed in the game. This also means that the Brazilian football team will offer a PES exclusive service, which means FIFA 21 players will not have access.
Sport Club Corinthians Paulista is also increasing its partnership with Konami, but it will not be exclusive to PES. As an official global partner, the eFootball PES logo will be placed on the number of Corinthians players and the club's home ground will be included in the game. The two were previously official video game partners. Finally, PES expanded its exclusivity agreement with Flamengo. The game is now the official sponsor of the Rio de Janeiro football team and will appear in training kits. Like other deals, these partnerships apply to the mobile version of PES.
