Valorant esports continues at full speed! After the open and closed qualifiers ended, VCT EMEA 2022 Challengers Stage 1 started today. Team Liquid, Fnatic, Gambit Esports and Valorant World Champion Acend, who dusted the EMEA scene at VCT 2021, are now coming to wreak havoc again in VCT 2022.
VCT 2022 EMEA Challengers Stage 1 will be split into two parts, the Regular Season and the Playoffs.
Regular Season
→ 12 teams will be divided into groups of six and matches will be played in Bo3 style. The top 3 teams in the ranking will advance to the Playoffs. The teams remaining in the lower ranks will compete in the Valorant Challengers Promotion Tournament .
→ Regular Season games will start on Friday, February 11th at 18:00 and will be played on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Teams will compete in 2 matches every day.
→ A total of 6 teams will qualify for the EMEA Challengers Stage 1 Playoffs after the Regular Season matches are over . The double elimination group system will be applied and all matches will be played in Bo3 format.
→ The lower group final and grand final matches will be played in Bo5 format. The top 3 teams will advance to Masters 1 .
