We can observe that Valorant has announced to the players that it has made some changes.
The most important ones are related to Ranked and Competitive mode. Valorant developers continue to improve the ranked system as they receive feedback.

Going into the closed beta, we knew we'd want to rework the tier icons. Considering your feedback, we made the following changes:
Color adjustments were made in order to make the differences between the levels more obvious.
Visual improvements have been made to match ratings.
One of our favorite features was that the highest tier was unique to our game and compatible with our brand; but we've decided to rename the VALORANT tier because we don't want the game name to be confused with the tier's name.
The name of our highest echelon will now be Radiant , representing the powers our agents have .
At VALORANT, we are aware of the importance of teaming up, playing together and competing with your friends. That's why we've made it easy to play with your teammates in qualifying matches. Regardless of the size of your ready group, we will continue to work to bring you more balanced encounters. We can say that we are devoted to this subject. You can now enter placement matches with your friends. Moreover, this is possible to some extent even if there is a certain skill gap between you. For example, if you are an elite player and your friends are still learning, our competitive matchmaking system will prevent you from entering with your friends. Because in this case, we put our competitive integrity and the experience of other players in the match more prominent. Moreover, We are also continuing to improve our matchmaking system to ensure that you are assigned to fair and balanced matches, regardless of the size of your ready group. At the end of the closed beta, we narrowed encounters to 50% fairness across most skill tiers (except for our players in the top two tiers). We've made some improvements to our matchmaking system for players in the Immortality and Radiant tiers. However, we are aware that there is still a slight advantage difference between entering the match with a ready-made group of 5 people and entering the match alone, in particular for matches at this level. We review different strategies for solving this problem. We plan to share the details with you later in the current year.
In each episode of VALORANT (which takes about two months), you will have the opportunity to track your performance throughout the episode. Depending on your performance in the section, you will also earn an icon representing that performance. We'll start tracking your tier progress as soon as we add competitive mode in Patch 1.02. Shortly after that, you'll be able to see that information in your Match History. Finally, by looking at your overall performance in the section, you will be able to see your place according to other regions in the client, in the light of information such as the number of wins, the number of wins you have received in your highest rank.
We've seen a host of different features requested for competitive mode that support the team, allow for in-client tournaments, provide a fairer overtime round, and provide more in-depth benchmarking at higher tiers, such as leaderboards. What we're going to focus on right now is getting competitive matchmaking around the world. But of course, we will deal with the needs mentioned above in time. Team play is an important part of the ideals we have set for VALORANT's competitive ecosystem. We want to offer all our players the opportunity to come together and compete as a team in high-prize tournaments, and we hope that team-oriented competitive matches will open the door to unforgettable and rewarding events.
