After Valorant patch 1.07, a new bug that upset the playerbase is called the " VCRUNTIME140_1.dll missing " bug.
Sage nerfs and Viper changes weren't the only things the latest Valorant patch brought with it . After the latest update, players are getting the error " VCRUNTIME140_1.dll is missing" every time they try to log into the game. Now, getting around this error is quite annoying and may not be fixed with the usual solution of reopening the game or restarting your system.
The simpler fix is to wait for Riot to fix it, but that may take time. So if you want to get into the game as soon as possible, here is a way to solve it.
In a Valorant subreddit, a player has posted a way that anyone can fix the "VCRUNTIME140_1.dll is missing" error that the game is currently facing.

Riot Games also tweeted that mentioning many viable solutions and recommending the following steps:
For this step, it is recommended to visit the Microsoft website and download the correct Visual C++ Runtime. If you are a little confused about which version to download, go to your PC's System Information and you will see an option called System Type which will show your PC's information.
Once the C++ Visual file is downloaded and installed, it will prompt you to restart your computer. After restarting your computer, your visual drivers should be updated by then and you will be able to launch Valorant as usual.
If the above two steps don't work, the next best solution would be to reinstall Valorant along with Vanguard . Since the issue was caused by a patch bug, reinstalling the entire game from the Riot website should be able to fix the issue right away.
