Map knowledge is essential in any game, Valorant is no exception.

Head shots are important, but knowing the ins and outs of each map of the game and communicating properly with your team is even more important.

You don't need to be a headshot machine if you know how to move forward, turn around and take down your opponents.

Here is every description text in VALORANT.

Ascent

Ascent is similar to Counter-Strike's De_Dust 2. It has a simple layout that includes a midsection, an A and a B bomb site. But what makes it stand out are its narrow spots and indentations. A few description texts to consider include Catwalk, lobby A and B. It's a defensive-heavy map that requires coordination from both sides.

bind

Attackers have multiple options when it comes to Bind. A few of the most common callouts and tight spots on the map include the teleport, a room leading up to bombing site B, and the bathhouse, a bathing area toward A.

Haven

Haven is the map with three bomb sites with many options when it comes to attack and defense. There are two particularly important callouts in the middle of the map. Mid Doors leading to Garage and C bomb site and Mid Countyard just in front of B. This area also has the Middle Windows, which is a common spot for attackers, and the B-box for defenders.

icebox

VALORANT's latest map, Icebox, features two bomb sites and horizontal zipline lines. A large snow-covered map with a unique aspect. There are reverse angles and blind spots, longer sight lines, and lots of high positions. It's the perfect map for air agents like Jett, Omen, and Raze, with tailor-made gameplay and quick aiming abilities.

split

Split is a map that is difficult to attack and requires coordination. There are many defensive points for the defensive side. If you haven't entered 5, your job is really difficult.
