The Valorant World Championship finals will go through a 4-team group stage and the teams will form two different pools. The double elimination format will continue until December 7, in order to qualify for the singles qualifiers, which will start on the 8th of the month. The two teams that stand out from both groups will be placed in different lanes. However, matches will be played randomly between teams. All matches will be played as “best-of-three”, that is, three points wins. Only the final match will be “best-of-five”, that is, five points wins.
In Group A, Acend, Vivo Keyd, Team Envy and X10 Esports will play.
In group B, Sentinels, Furia, KRU Esports and Team Liquid will play.
Gambit, Team Secret, Team Vikings and Crazy Racoon will play in Group C.
Group D will play Vision Strikes, Full Sense, Fnatic and Cloud9.
The prize pool for the VCT 2021 Berlin finals will be $1,000,000. The grand prize will be distributed among the teams in the order in which they are placed. In addition, the tournament prize is a “crowdfunded” project. It is not yet clear which publishers the Valorant Championship final will be held in collaboration with due to previous problems. The places where the tournament will be broadcast will be the Twitch channel and Youtube channel.
