Austrian publisher THQ Nordic has opened a new studio called Nine Rock Games in Bratislava, Slovakia . The studio's goal is to develop "shooter/survival" games.
Nine Rock Games is led by CEO David Durcak , who previously worked at DayZ with experience in the shooter/survival genre . "We look forward to setting up shop in our office, gradually optimizing our team size, and getting to work on our project," Durcak said in a press release . Said. “As a partner with THQ Nordic, our talent team found the perfect conditions to collaborate on our first joint project.”
Klemens Kreuzer , CEO of THQ Nordic, said: "We welcome the newest addition to the THQ Nordic studio network: Nine Rocks Games. The developers' stop, wholly owned by THQ Nordic, is now 12 years old after the founding of Nine Rock Games.
