Tencent Games has kicked off a special event called ' Treasure Hunt' in PUBG Mobile . This brand new event rewards players with special weapon skins and outfits that they can keep in their inventory forever .
The Treasure Hunt event appeared in-game on July 30 and will run for about a week. The main goal of this event is to search for nine ancient statues on the Erangel map. Once you find them all, a secret code will be shared that can be used to unlock the rewards.
Event Period: 30 July - 8 August
Players can go to Erangel in Classic Mode and search for Ancient Statues in the designated area.
All 9 statues are scattered across 3 areas and players have to race against the clock to unlock them.
Rewards: Players will receive corresponding chest rewards for every 3 statues they unlock in each locked area. Unlocking all 9 statues will give players the ultimate treasure.
There will be corresponding events on Twitter, Facebook and VK.
To participate in PUBG Mobile 's Treasure Hunt event, you need to go to the event section of the game and then go to the suggested tab. Open the Treasure hunt event from the list of available events.
After opening it, you will see an Erangel map that will be divided into three components. These three components will be grayed out and each partition will be assigned a unique number.
Players will have to visit these places on the Erangel map and hunt for Ancient statues. These statues will spawn randomly in a certain area. Therefore, it is recommended to buy a vehicle before starting your journey.
