Outriders Patch Notes

Outriders' first update includes cross-play support and a crash fix that wipes out inventories, and much more. People Can Fly believe they will be able to fix many of the major crashes that have occurred throughout the game in next week's patch. Details are in our article.

Outriders ' first update was detailed ahead of its expected launch next week, patch notes reveal that it will address existing cross-play issues, improve matchmaking stability, and more. A fix is ​​also on the way in Outriders ' first major patch for the multiplayer crash that was causing players' inventories to be wiped out. As of today, the distribution of this patch is scheduled for next week, as we're using it this week to detect as many serious issues as possible, fix them, and then thoroughly test the changes across all platforms. Submissions through platform owners also save some time, so we can't distribute this patch earlier.

We do our best to provide you with a stable patch as soon as possible and are constantly exploring ways to release the patch the day before. Therefore, we do not commit to a patch release date yet as we may release the patch before such a date.

In the process, the developers have released possible patch notes for Outriders . As detailed in the official patch notes, here are all the changes currently coming to  Outriders when its first update is released next week.
 

Outriders Anticipated Patch Notes

• It will fix a performance issue where the GPU is not being fully utilized. This will help with stuttering and DX11/12 issues.
• When platforms are updated to the same patch version, cross-platform crossplay will become applicable again.
• General stability improvements for the matchmaking service.
• Crash Fixes.

- Fixes a multiplayer crash that could cause client players' inventories to be deleted.
- Fixes crash when completing the "Bad Day" side quest.
- It will fix crash on startup issues.
- Includes many more "random" crash fixes. Fixes HUD disappearing in some cases.

• Fixes bugs that prevented players from respawning in multiplayer Expeditions.
• Fixes bugs with players getting stuck in geometry (including when using Gravity Leap) or falling out of the world.
• It will change the default pairing setting from "On" to "Off".

- You will still be able to manually change this setting to "Open" in your game settings.
- This change will prevent players from participating in games where the host does not want to play in multiplayer. It will also reduce AFK lobbies.
Many other minor fixes and improvements.

♦ Rebalancing
This rebalancing work can be implemented via backend updates, does not require a patch, and will be run during today's maintenance period.

General Balance Notes:

• Historian, bounty hunt, and monster hunt quests no longer grant Legendary items for each completion.
• Adjusted loot on certain enemies: Tooka Beast, Splittooth, Sandshifter, and Coldclaw
• Alchemy Factory - Campaign duration for Gold / Silver / Bronze adjusted to 650/1150/1500 seconds (Previously: 957/1303/1650)
• Boom Town - Campaign duration for Gold / Silver / Bronze adjusted to 390/589/776 seconds (Previously: 422/607/792)
• Critical Rating Damage Multiplier on Tactical Assault Rifle reduced to 165% (Previously: 175%)
• Critical Rating Damage Multiplier on Sniper Rifle reduced to 250% (Previously: 300%)
• Slaughter AP buff duration reduced to 3 seconds

Bullet abilities:

• Increased the base cooldown of Twisted Rounds to 25 seconds (Previously: 16 seconds)
• Trickster's Hero Tree nodes: - Disruptive Firepower, Power Sprout, Outrider Executioner - their power reduced to 35% (Previously: 50%)
• "Vulnerable" state - Strength reduced to 15% (Previously: 25%)
• Technomancer Hero Tree node - "Damage Against Poison" - strength reduced to 15% (Previously: 30%)
• Pyromancer Hero Tree Node - "Trial of Ashes" - 15% bonus damage reduced (Previously: 30%)
