There is a month and a half left until the release of Battle for Azeroth, the upcoming new series of World of Warcraft . We've seen gameplay, game versions, and more, but now we'll be sharing little details about PvP and other new additions coming out in the expansion.
We first saw the battle against Azeroth in November last year. The world has been drawn into a war between the Alliance and the Horde, and we also know that the expansion will add several new continents and raise the level cap to 120. But that's not all, it continues. PvP capabilities are seeing some change and there are three new additions: War Mode, Bounties and Dueler's Guild.
“With Battle Mode, we wanted to solve the problem of some players having a 'locked' playstyle or one over others,” the blog says. They might have chosen the PvE realm because even if they were interested in open world PvP, their friends were there. Conversely, they might have chosen a PvP area to start with, but later decided it wasn't for them anymore. It provides a way for each player to have both styles of play coexist, and with the current way of field formatting, we felt it was the right opportunity to let the players choose. ”
The new Boralus or Zuldazar regions have open arenas perfect for the new Dueler Guild. Like Brawler's Guild, you will face rival players in 1v1 matches. Once you lose, you're out, but keep winning and you'll have a success and a chance at Contender title.
