Although you exist for your own development in the New World , you must become a member of the faction and join forces with other players, and increase your influence in your clan by gaining " reputation " and " ranking ". New World Faction quests are special quests that players can undertake to join their chosen guild. These quests not only improve a player's "f action rank ", but also help create influence within the factions in the area that connect to the battle mechanics. Faction quests also grant “ faction tokens ” (coins) , which can be exchanged for special rewards specific to each faction, such as weapons and armor .

You can start receiving quests when you join a faction in the New World. Go to the nearest settlement (settlement) and find and speak to your faction representative. The number of quests you can take at once is six . They are divided into three as PvE and three as PvP. Both quest types give you " faction standing ". You are more likely to fail PvP missions, but have a higher reward. If you want to increase your faction level quickly, complete as many quests as you can. PvE missions are also a good alternative, but they don't offer as many rewards as PvP missions.
New World PvE faction quests challenge you with content such as returning an item, killing someone, capturing a province, or crafting an item. You can do these tasks whenever you want as there is no chance of failure or time limit. PvE quests give more XP than quests you get from the signage in settlement areas, but you will get more rewards from many side quests. When you decide to do side missions, you can add these tasks to your to-do list and do them all together, so you can maximize your XP gain. Faction PvE missions provide200-300 " reputation ". This increases your standing in the faction.

Faction PvP missions , on the other hand, ask you to defend a region, gather resources, or bring back items found in specific locations. Taking any PvP mission will cause your PvP (player-to-player combat) feature to be turned on until you leave the mission. Unlike PvE missions, if you die while taking a PvP mission, your mission will fail. You should be careful as these quests can send you to other faction areas. At some point, enemy players will appear in front of you.
The greater the risk, the greater the reward. New World PvP missions grant 400+ reputation points. You can increase your faction level by completing as many of these quests as possible.

You gain reputation points while doing your faction missions . At some point you will notice that these scores do not go above 3000. You have to do a mission to cross the border and level up. The names of these quests vary according to their level. For example, "Trial of the [Faction Rank]."
You can get these quests from the faction officer when needed. You will be able to get these quests every time you reach the border. Note the Reputation Cap .
