When entering, at least one player in your party must have a " tuning orb " compatible with the expedition. You can buy this item or produce it yourself using the "stonecutting table". If you've progressed far enough in the main story and you're meeting the dungeon's requirements, you might think it's done. Unfortunately, we have bad news. New World: Amrine Excavation Mission Complete Solution: Phase 1


First Mission: Use the Azoth Staff to remove the Azoth Seal.

You enter the Amrine Excavation through a mine shaft. Proceed in a straight line until you encounter the first enemies, the Plaguegeist and Scavenger. Dealing with these enemies is not difficult, finish their job and move on. Go down the wooden road and when you turn right, two more enemies will appear in front of you. You will see that the road is starting to fork, enter both roads. Because both roads lead to the same place. It is worth paying attention to the zombies on the road.

When you come to the room where two statues hold round objects, you have to go to the main floor again. You can reach the wooden road again by jumping from the side. There will be several zombies and Abominations where you arrive. After this point, the number of enemies will also increase. In the corner with Abomination is a Withered Nest that constantly spawns enemies. Destroy it. We suggest you act quickly because you don't want your party to take more damage than necessary. Hint: Someone with a heavy weapon can easily destroy an enemy nest while your other teammates are battling enemies.

Head back to the room with the statues and be prepared for waves of enemies coming your way. There is one door at the back of the room. That's your target. In the battle for the gate, he will be from almost all the creatures mentioned above. Including one lone Abomination. Either try to kill or leave it. Distract the enemies and focus on killing the most damaging enemies. When the battle is over, you can open the door, which is your target, with Azoth Staff.

New Mission: Find Simon Grey's investigation on Ancient's Technology

When you get through the door, keep going and turn left. A Plaguegeist will appear in front of you. kill it. When you go down the steps, you will see Ravager brute. Defeat as well. First, attract 2 enemies around you. You can easily take down the Ravager once they're done. Watch out for Charge attacks and attack accordingly. Keep your healing power at the ready. One of your team can get caught by Ravager's combos. Keep in mind the light device located in the area. Although locked for now, you will return here again. Go up the stairs and study the "Breakthrough" notes on the wood platform. After reviewing, a new quest will be opened.

New Quest: Use the Azoth Staff to translate the Azoth Scripts in the Excavated Caverns. Hidden within the Azoth Scripts is a clue to unlocking the Bridge Mechana.

Go down the ramp and enter the corridor around the wooden structure. There's another Ravager at the end of the hall. Additionally, there are Faminegeist and Retcher enemies. First you can pull the Ravager to yourself and finish it off. In this way, you will not attract the attention of other creatures and your work will be easier. Here is another lighted device. We're just passing by right now. In the next area, you will see a ghost and the Punisher again. After you overcome it, you can dig Soulspire for your resources. Go ahead and you'll find a monolith engraved with runes. This is the Azoth inscription we're looking for. But first you have to deal with the enemies that come your way. After the enemies are gone, you will have translated the inscription and opened your new quest.

New Mission: Find the Broken Vestibule. The Azoth Script indicates a power source is located in the chamber.

Continue on the path in front of you and reach the next room. Enemies will greet you in the room. Fight one by one or all at once. But no matter what, the Nest in the room must be destroyed first. Proceed and you'll come to a large room with lighted pillars.

New Mission: Activate the Vestibule seal to restore the Bridge Mechana.

Enemies will come in droves from everywhere in this room. After killing all the enemies and clearing the monster nests, proceed from the outer edge of the room. You will see a door in the middle. If you did not operate the middle mechanism, this door remains closed. When you pass through the door, a path leading back to the large illuminated room and the Checkpoint Shrine will appear before you. This lighted room doesn't hold many enemies.

New Mission: Activate the Bridge Mechana.

Beyond the illuminated platform, you will see a broken bridge. When you climb on it, you will notice that the platform is activated and the lights are on. Send 2 people from your group to the platforms you have already found and activate them all. When they are all activated, a magical bridge will form for you to cross. Be careful to cross the bridge quickly. There will be enemies in front of you.

New Mission: Defeat the Abomination and find the Hallowed Candle.

When you're done, head back to the bridge and fight the creatures that come your way. When the battle is over, the back door will be opened. This door leads to the Shrine Area. Before going through the gate, search the area and find Foreman Nakashima's Toolbox, Hallowed Candle, and Foreman's Ledger. You will need the Ledger to complete the Foreman's Ledger (Expedition) quest.

New Quest: Place the Hallowed Candle on the Spectral Shrine.

A lot of enemies will meet you in the next room. You can pull them to yourself one by one and you can overcome them more easily. When the enemies are over, go up the stairs and defeat the zombies. There you will find the Elite Supply Chest. It contains resources and loot. Head back to the main hall and get ready for the first boss fight.

♦ New World Amrine Excavation Boss Battle: Foreman Nakashima

This boss is in semi-ghost form. It is similar in appearance to the Plaguegeists and Faminegeists creatures. The Foreman boss uses quick claw strikes and sends waves at players, trapping them in an area of ​​magic.

Abilities :

Spectral Walls – Nakashima builds a wall of spirits. The wall expands quickly and deals damage to everything it hits. There is a short period of time after each attack to keep players safe.

Magical Trap – Nakashima casts spells around players and slows them down. Tapping the spinning edges of the spell stuns players.

Spectral Scream - Nakashima looks up and concentrates an attack. When it attacks, it sends waves in succession, dealing damage.

Get out of range or avoid incoming waves. Try not to touch the edges of the Magical Trap ability. Use your healing power abundantly. Use your bleeder weapons. When you kill it, you get a chest plus the following rewards:

Last Mission Remaining: Find what remains of Simon Gray.

After defeating Nakashima, proceed towards the right side of the temple. There is a door there, dangerous enemies are waiting for you inside. Destroy the Withered Nests first and fight the remaining enemies. Enter the corridor opposite the slot and destroy the enemies. Open the big door.

Now you have come to the final boss of the game. There are also little monsters inside besides Simon Grey. Carefully attract enemies and clear out the boss. Be careful when doing this, you don't want to pull Simon on you.

♦ New World Amrine Excavation Boss Battle: Simon Gray

Simon Gray is similar to his Ravager enemies but larger. He can stun players with his abilities. He also constantly spawns and empowers small creatures during battle.

Abilities :

Charge – An attack similar to the standard ravager attack. Simon dashes towards a player, dealing damage to anything in his path. Dodging (Dodge) in the last second of the attack allows you to take less or no damage.

Bash – Simon starts roaring and slams both hands on the ground. If you fail to dodge, you will be stunned and take massive damage.

Summon Workers - Subtracts "Star Excavation Workers" creatures to aid him in battle. The spawn's attacks are fast, and they gain buffs by drinking the poison that Simon sprays.

Corrupted Sludge – Simon sprays poison on a player, dealing damage over time. At the same time, this attack stays in a small pond on the ground, applying the same effect to players passing over it.

Empower – This power of Simon consists of 2 phases. Simon consumes his empowered "Star Excavation Workers" creatures, granting him attack damage for a few seconds.

In this battle, you have to separate multiple targets from each other. You must kill the spawn creatures as fast as you can. Then you can focus on Simon himself. The healer in your team, on the other hand, should adjust his distance very well and not get in the way. Your tank, on the other hand, should step in here, take the damage it needs and give space to the team. Your healer teammate can remove the poison effect on you. After Simon Gray is defeated, you will have completed the expedition. Also, don't forget to get your reward Antiquarian's Eyepiece for completing the Seeing Clearly (Expedition) quest. Explore the interior of the room and find the Heartgem item needed to complete the Destiny Unearthed quest.
