Mount And Blade II: Bannerlord New Update Coming

Now there are more ways to rule your kingdom.

Fans of Mount And Blade know that their chosen game only gets better with time. That was the case for Mount And Blade: Warband , and now it is the case for Mount And Blade II: Bannerlord.

Development hasn't stopped though, and TaleWorlds Entertainment continues to work on making it as massive and seamlessly playable as possible. To that end, Mount And Blade II: Bannerlord will receive a ton of new content in upcoming updates, including new missions and much-needed quality-of-life changes.

These additions, detailed in a new development update video, will come to live and beta versions of Bannerlord in the "near future".

Players will soon have the option to gift grooms as a clan master or register them as a vassal. As for settlements, the game also adds new icons to indicate whether it's an active mission or a tournament in progress without having to enter a town or city.

Players will soon have more reasons to make their citizens happy. One of the upcoming updates for Bannerlord will give peoples the ability to rebel. If they are not happy or loyal, they can cross the garrison and pledge loyalty to another clan or nation.

More battle dynamics

The big focus of today's update was battles and missions, with new versions of each in future updates. When players attack cities or castles, enemies can sometimes put up a last stand in the settlement's castle. Players must lead a party inside and fight at close range to eliminate remaining enemies.

Along with the close-range theme, the new highlighted mission was a prison break. If a friendly noble or other NPC is captured, players will be able to make daring rescue attempts. Be careful though, these missions are high risk because you will have to first enter an enemy settlement and then fight.

Unfortunately, there is no word on when Mount And Blade II: Bannerlord will receive these updates. We'll just have to wait for another developer update or these changes to happen suddenly.
