League of Legends: Wild Rift 2.1a Patch Notes Details

♦ New Event: Katarina's Challenge

Players can complete event missions to unlock Katarina for free. Riot Games will provide more information on this at a later date.

♦ New Champions: Sneak Blade Katarina

♦ Costumes

Future 2.1 skins will be available in Patch 2.1b . All skins will continue to be released throughout the patch.

♦ Nerfed Champions

Lulu

Lulu has always been one of the strongest supports in the game since its release and has a pretty high win rate. It got a massive nerf to let its opponents breathe a bit.

Miss Fortune

Miss Fortune's overall presence in the match can be quite challenging. Compared to other marksmen in the game, she took the most damage, she. The developers have decided to reduce the overwhelming damage it has, along with a few visual bug fixes.

Olaf

♦ Buffed Champions

Ashe

Ashe is currently one of the weakest champions. The developers decided to reduce the cooldown of his first skill to improve his overall ability flow.

Darius

Ezreal

It got weaker after the nerf it got in the 1.1 patch notes. Its damage is very scant, especially against tanks, and it struggles lightly against other marksmen in the lane. He got his base damage back before patch 1.1 to help him regroup.

varus

Even worse than Ashe, he is known as one of the weakest marksmen in the game. These minor changes to his first skill should allow him to improve his lane pressure and make him viable in Wild Rift.

Vayne

Vayne is good against tanks in the late game. However, the developers thought that the Blade of the Ruined King item would be affected by the nerf, as it is one of its core items in the game. The developers decided to strengthen it a bit to reduce the reliance on the item.

Xayah

Rakan has outperformed Xayah since their initial launch. His mechanic is useful in teamfights, but his damage is pretty meagre. So the developers buffed its crushing damage so that it can compete with other marksmen.

♦ Item Changes

Blade of the Ruined King
