LoL Developers Outline Details For Upcoming Update 11.1

League of Legends, the world-famous game of Riot Games, will enter its new season in 2021. Trinity Force, Gore Drinker, Duskblade, and Night Harvester will be nerfed in the first patch of Season 11.

Riot Games ' favorite game, which released the 10.25 patch a few days ago,  will enter Season 11 for League of Legends , shortly in 2021. According to Mark Yetter, League of Legends ' director of gameplay design, the first patch of the year will bring many changes to some legendary items.

With the item system overhaul that came with the 10.23 pre-season update, the developers tried to change the way items in League of Legends work. As it's a new system, there's got to be a lot of tweaks and balances that Riot needs to apply to balance some of the overpowered elements in the game. Items such as Duskblade of Draktharr, Night Harvester and Goredrinker are preferred more than other legendary items in League of Legends .

For 11.1 we're doing a burst damage pass across a bunch of items. Shifting pure upfront burst into stats (overall not nerfs or buffs, just adjustments)

We still have a small balance hotfix patch coming next week (10.25b) pic.twitter.com/Ff9jcrAbfn

Yetter stated in a recent tweet that all three items, along with others, will weaken when it comes to the damage and impact they cause. Yetter suggested:

For 11.1, we're doing a quick damage to a bunch of items. This allows for regulation based on the stats obtained (not nerfs or buffs in general, just tweaks). We have a small patch for next week (10.25b).

These legendary items are a core part of the build for many champions, and with patch 11.1 , League of Legends looks set to witness another major shift in the meta.
