LOL "Center Raid" is Back

League Of Legends Headquarters Raid is returning as a limited game mode during the summer event.


As explained in the latest Riot Pls video, Headquarters Raid is returning soon as a temporary game mode for next summer's event! A lot of changes have been made in the By game mode. According to Riot's report, these changes include a brand new look, minor gameplay updates and some balance tweaks. It's been a while since Riot Games brought the Headquarters Raid into the game, and with all these updates, they want to get the mod to you as quickly as possible so you can hear your feedback. If you decide to test the Center Raid during the extended Open Beta period, there are some things to keep in mind:

This version of Headquarters Raid is not yet complete and Riot Games is working hard to make final adjustments and polish the mode.

You may encounter some errors and incomplete images. They'll also be monitoring the mod's performance and server load to avoid any issues when we bring Headquarters Raid into the game.

Headquarters Raid was the first and only "experimental game mode" ever released. After seeing the interaction that Players exhibited each time we brought the Headquarters Raid to the game, Riot had decided not to make it a permanent mode and to bring it back occasionally as part of future events. But the time has come to bring back the " Center Raid " and we are looking forward to seeing this crazy, chaotic and fast-paced fun again.

Updates

The most notable change of Center Raid is the map. This mod will now be permanently set in a jungle in Ionia. The venue hasn't been named yet, but you can see some of our concept drawings below!

In addition, the in-game riots and the rewards you get by winning them have also been changed. You'll come across some of the beloved bullshit again (you haven't forgotten the Battle Sled, have you?). Of course, Riot, which does not neglect to improve the clarity of their gameplay, also brought some brand new ups and downs and rewards.

(Reminder: The Burning buff grants bonus attack speed, variable strength, and mana/energy regen, but causes you to take more damage.) The last team standing wins.

URF Skirmish: Players surrounded by cheering minions enjoy benefits in URF mode! Whoever beats the opposing team in a series of duels that lasts three battles wins.

Loot Thief Teemo: Loot Thief Teemo spawns in a random area of ​​the map.

Loot Thief Veigar: Loot Thief Veigar spawns in a random area of ​​the map

Uses Dark Matter and Black Hole abilities while avoiding players. Hitting the Loot Thief Veigar grants gold. The team that last hits Veigar wins.

Push Car (Classic): Stand next to the car, take it to the nearest enemy structure and destroy it.

Push Car (Attack/Defend): Compete with the opposing team to see who can destroy the opposing structure the fastest. Of course this time both teams have a car they can push!

[NEW] Protect Soraka: Two Soraka Bots arrive in the hallway, but only one of them can survive (because teams try to destroy one of the Sorakas). Watch out for improvements and bananas!

[NEW] Damage Meter: Just like Training Mode, but you have to train with the opposing team on the same Teemo puppet and defeat the opponent.

Awards

Catapult of Champions: A catapult will appear on your base for the remainder of the game, launching your champion to the desired location on the map. When your champion reaches the target area, they damage and knock back nearby enemies.

Blitzcrank's Blessings: Your turrets, siege minions, and superminions can use their Rocket Hand ability to attract nearby enemies for the rest of the game.

The Poro King: The Poro King helps your team push the lane and flank enemy towers. Regularly blasts enemies with flames and heals nearby allies.

Battle Sled: Players can ride a sledge from their base to almost anywhere on the map. The first person to board the sled controls the sled.

Guardian Angel: Everyone on the team gains a one-time Guardian Angel effect that persists for 90 seconds.

Statikk Shock: All players gain a buff that causes their basic attacks to fire a chain of lightning for 3 minutes. This buff makes it easier to quickly melt down minions and champions.

ONE Shield: Gains a strong shield that persists until everyone on the team is destroyed.

Mega Cloud Dragon: The team gains effective out-of-combat mega movement speed for 3 minutes, and their ultimate's cooldown is reduced.

Mega Ocean Dragon: Dealing damage restores health and mana/energy for 3 minutes.

[NEW] Ancient Dragon: IN THE POWER OF THE GREAT DRAGON! You can now execute enemies below a certain amount of health for a few minutes.
