The new karatker aka "The Shepherd of Dreams" looks even more like Neeko than we thought!
"Imagine knowing everyone's dreams. You know the world like the back of your hand, how they see themselves and others."
Senior Story Writer David “Interlocutioner” Slagle explains , “ Lillia feels an affinity between dreams and herself. She even adores them. But there is a meaningful reason behind it,” he explains. “He loves dreams for what they represent: a world full of people with tremendous magic in them. But people forget this magic. They're hiding it. And when Lillia sees this situation, she wants not only to save the tree mother, but also to help people find their magic.”
In short, it's all about dreams. So what does this mean for LoL ? How does a jungler gather dreams? Can junglers collect anything but teammates' tears and enemy loss signals?
According to Riot and its developers: “ As soon as I decided Lillia was a dream champion, I added a sleep mechanic to her kit,” says Champion Designer Dan “Riot Maxw3ll” Emmons . “This has long been one of the key elements that made it up; because you can't design a dream deer without sleep mechanics. But over time we went through a lot of changes. At one point , Lillia's stun mechanic was a skill shot that put everyone it hit to sleep. In another design, it was a shot that created flowers on the walls and put anyone smart enough to stand near them to sleep ( like Qiyana's ultimate). We also did an experiment where he could place sleep traps. Although this is coolIt led to her never getting close to Lillia . The team finally settled on a mass-sleep mechanic that takes advantage of everything in the kit.
Lillia's passive smears dream dust on everything her ability hits . This allows him to put his opponents to sleep with his ultimate. Also, the dream dust deals damage over time equal to a percentage of the opponent's maximum health.
According to the statement in Riot Games :
“Our players in the QC test thought at first that Lillia's passive was too strong,” says Mikky, Quality Control Engineer . “Percent max health damage had no limit against monsters. Therefore, players cheated to reveal the Baron, proving that rank 1 Lillia was able to cut him off on her own. Then a test player named Gabriel drew this image and we used it as the loading screen splash image for a while. In fact, this temporary visual stayed in the game for quite a long time compared to the others.” But the final version of Lillia's opening image is full of signs and clues as to who she really is. He is the shepherd of dreams.
It is also a shepherd's staff, although it uses its staff made from the tree mother's branch to beat its opponents. The bulb that once housed Lillia's dream of meeting people hangs on the tip of the wand, absorbing the dreams she collects. The light she emits helps Lillia take dreams to the mother of the tree.
