League of Legends Character Says Seraphine Is Inspired By Her

She says the female character looks like her and has filed legal notice to Riot Games, details in the article.

Recently, a woman claimed that League of Legends ' newest champion, Seraphine , was rooting for her and threatened to take legal action. Seraphine was recently introduced in League of Legends with patch 10.22 at the end of October. The character received a position change just a week after its release. Recently, a woman named Stephanie accused her ex-partner, a Riot Games employee, claiming that the character was based on her. According to the woman, the employee is joking about extracting content from her and using it to create the latest League of Legends character.

As you can see in the tweet post, Stephanie announced that she was joining K/DA on Seraphine's birthday. Apart from looks, there are other similarities in the way she poses. She said it affected her personal life and she didn't want to be involved with the character as it was extremely controversial.

However, Riot Games ' statement on the matter paints a completely different picture. According to them, the employee in question actually left Riot Games over a year ago and was working in a division that had nothing to do with character design.

As you can see in the post above , Riot Games claimed that they have already contacted Stephanie's lawyer. According to the post, Riot Games investigated the allegations and found that they were not entitled. The same was communicated to the woman's lawyer, and the company is still awaiting a response to discuss the matter and its findings with her. While there are some obvious physical similarities between Seraphine and the woman, Riot Games claimed that the character wasn't based on her.
