How Does Call of Duty: Warzone Interact with Black Ops Cold War?

Activision also confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will not have a Season Pass model.


Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer system, developer Treyarch's introduction of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. Linking the Battle Pass system and store, the two Call of Duty games will share post-launch content and progress across all platforms. The studio detailed what it means to connect the Battle Pass system and store for both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. In addition to supporting crossplay and cross-progression, both games feature post-launch content shared through the Battle Pass and the store. This means that what you unlock for Black Ops Cold War's Battle Pass will be migrated to Warzone and vice versa. Additionally, everything in Warzone can be imported into Black Ops Cold War, as post-launch content for both games is free.



"One surprise we avoid is the feeling of starting over," said Treyarch creative expert Miles Leslie. "It's important to us that you can keep using your characters, your weapons, your progression-related items, so the investment and progress in Cold War is reflected in Warzone. While these are two very big games, they were built to work together from the start.
