Fortnite continues to be a huge success for Epic Games , and new numbers show it's performing exceptionally well in its sales on mobile. Two years after launch, Fortnite on mobile now has total revenue of $1 billion, according to Sensor Tower .
In April 2020, sales were getting worse by the current global COVID-19 pandemic. Monthly calculations showed that the game brought in $44.3 million and 6 million new installs. last year (second best month for uploads in 12-month period December 2019, 3 million uploads).
According to Sensor Tower, the Google Play version of the game, which was released only in April of this year, has brought in $937,000 so far. The total number of downloads of the game on mobile devices is 129 million installs. In total, the game has 350 million registered players and recently reached a concurrent player peak of 12.3 million.
Fortnite was recently confirmed as a PS5 and Xbox Series X launch title and will continue to rake in cash here. Like every version of the game, this game will also have cross-play.
