FIFA 18 PC update released by EA Games!

Fifa 18 Ultimate Team got its first update!

The first update for  FIFA 18 purchasers was for Ultimate Team, making a number of changes to modes such as The Journey: Hunter Returns and general gameplay, EA Games announced that this update is only available for the PC version .

For Ultimate Team, while adding new functionality, the update fixes an issue where the crowd was waving or removing a false flag while the home team was wearing a specific kit. There was also an issue where you could control the fixed single player goalkeeper.

In terms of general gameplay fixes, this FIFA 18 patch reverses the difficulty of the Amateur and Semi-Pro difficulties, so newcomers will now be able to play an easier game.  As for the changes, the issue that the game might crash in the 5th episode of the Journey mode is now fixed with this update.

Today's FIFA 18 patch for PC also fixes some minor audio issues and provides improvements to target clear animations. In addition, the Bundesliga broadcast package is being added. You can see the full patch notes as posted on EA's website. It's unclear when this patch will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One . Consoles often have longer certification processes for patches; which might explain why this update came to PC in the first place.

FIFA 18 October 3 Update:

FIFA Ultimate Team added the following:

• New functionality to Champions Channel, including missed footage and hidden timeline.

FIFA Ultimate Team said:

• An issue with the extra time display in the Champions Channel timeline.
• An issue with locked EASFC catalog kits from opposing teams in Squad Battles.
• It's an issue that the crowd will have false flags when the home team wears a certain kit.
• An issue where a player may get an error while watching a FUT Champions Channel match.
•  An issue where players can control the goalkeeper in FUT Single Player
• Changing Matches is a game-changing issue in the FUT Champions Daily Knockout
• Changed the Possible Points text in Squad Battles to Projected Match Points.
• Updated the portraits of loan players in the EASFC Catalogue.
• Visual improvements to some FUT item types.

In Gameplay, the following was noted:

• Adjusted goalkeeper responses in some cases.
• Reduced the difficulty of Amateur and Semi-Pro difficulties.
• In some in-game situations, it reduces shot accuracy and slightly increases goalie response times.

Added the following in Journey Hunter Returns:

• Icons in cinematic scenes are used to indicate user-triggered action.
• Triggered actions: Personality, FIFA 17 Result, End of Match, Key Decision, Player Performance, Team Performance, Affiliate Rate

He wrote in The Journey Hunter Returns:

• An issue where the player may fail during a cinematic in Episode 5.

Added the following in Career Mode:

• Added option to delegate contract renewals.
• Allow users to renegotiate a contract with a player who has been paid a release penalty.

Added the following in Career Mode:

• It is an issue where users can use a loaned player as part of a remittance agreement.
• It's an issue that Breaking News hasn't renewed.

Added the following in Online Modes:

• An issue where a player could return to an invisible lobby after a match
• You have activated the opponent indicators in online matches.
• Improved the clashing logic of the kit.

Visual / Audio / Presentation Changes:

• Adding this season's real Bundesliga broadcast package.
• Multiple minor audio issues fixed.
• Improvements to target clear animations.
