Winter break may be over, but Destiny 2 's holiday event, The Dawning, is still on. Short-term activity sends you around the solar system to complete, cook, and deliver rewards. This year, The Dawning adds more characters to your delivery rotation, including a few villains like Riven of a Thousand Voices, the Final Boss of the last delivery. At first, the prospect of delivering something to Riven may seem daunting. In most cases, the only way to get a raid Boss is to complete a raid that requires six players and a lot of coordination and skill. But with the Last Wish raid, things are a little easier. With the Wishing Wall, you don't have to fight other encounters of the raid to get to Riven.
To reach Riven, raid the Dreaming City of the Director map, Last Wish. After entering the first room and listening to Riven's monologue, go through the hole in the left wall until you reach the Kalli encounter. Instead of landing where Kalli is waiting, jump left across the pool to find a ledge path from which you can exit to a secret room housing the Wishing Wall.
After entering the correct combination, step onto the circular plate on the floor to teleport to encounter Riven. When you arrive, go to the circle plate on the right and stand on it to be sent down into the actual fight with Riven. When you arrive, you will see a small blue snowflake-like projection on the ground near Riven's feet. Activate it and you can deliver the cookie, then back into orbit before things heat up.
