Destiny 2 Beyond Light Expansion Coming

The next big installment of Destiny 2, called Beyond Light, is coming in the fall, and it's set to make some big changes to the game. Bungie revealed a bunch of details in its livestream, with some of the details that players are guessing based on the trailers for the expansion and other rumors. Beyond Light is expected to launch its fourth year of Destiny 2 content this fall. As shown in trailers for the livestream revealed by Bungie, the expansion will add a new destination: Jupiter's moon Europa. It will also focus on the arrival of the Pyramid ships that have been mentioned since the end of Destiny 2's vanilla story campaign. We also know that the expansion will be on September 22, 2020.



Bungie has stated that Beyond Light will come with a whole new power for players: Stasis, a power born from the power known in the world of Destiny as Darkness. Stasis joins the three current base powers (Arc, Solar, and Void) and will provide players with new Supers and abilities against enemies. The expansion's story will focus heavily on the aliens known as the Fallen. They've been dispersed and scattered for a while, but it looks like they'll be reuniting on Europa under a new leader called Eramis and will also use Darkness.
