Cyberpunk 2077 Won't Be Postponed Again

CD Projekt Red thinks the game will not be delayed any longer, details are in the article.


Developer CD Projekt Red is confident that Cyberpunk 2077 will launch on the November 19 release date. The upcoming RPG has been delayed twice since it originally aimed for an April release, slipped to September and now November. The company reiterated in a video recap that CD Projekt Red released recently in the first half of fiscal 2020, that it does not expect the game to face any further delays.



“When we meet again in this format, Cyberpunk 2077 will have already been released,” says CFO Piotr Nielubowicz towards the end of the video. CD Projekt Red releases similar videos at the end of each quarter and at the end of each half of the fiscal year. As Nielubowicz points out, the next video is scheduled for December, following the November 19 release of Cyberpunk 2077 . That doesn't prevent a small delay, of course, but Nielubowicz says development has now entered its final phase "with a lot of hard work." Teams in the studio are continuing to work from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and this is expected to continue until at least December. The company is facing new challenges of remote working,

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released first on PlayStation 4 , Xbox One and PC . The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game will be released in 2021, and you can get a free upgrade if you already own the game on previous systems.
