Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay Release Postponed for a Few Weeks

The publication has been postponed within the framework of the latest events in America, the details are in the article.

Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red delayed the digital showcase for the game Night City Wire in June, then in light of ongoing civil rights protests in the US. Night City Wire was originally supposed to be released on June 11, but using the same project, CD Projekt Red is also preparing for E3 before its September release. The event will now take place on June 25th and said, "There are more important discussions going on right now and we want them to be heard."

We decided to move Night City Wire to Jun 25th. We still look forward to sharing new information about CP'77, but more important discussions are happening right now and we want them to be heard. We wholeheartedly stand against racism, intolerance and violence. Black Lives Matter.

CD Projekt Red isn't the only company that has changed plans in light of the social events that have taken place over the past few days. Activision has delayed Call of Duty Modern Warfare new content, Sony has delayed the June 4 stream for PlayStation 5. Numerous publishers and developers support the events and ongoing struggle for equality under the name of Black Lives Matter, and some companies donate financially to these struggles.
