Fall Guys Season 2 brought a great change to the battle royale gameplay. Players can now select all team games from the minigame rotation. Say goodbye to Egg Scramble and Team Tail Tag. “And you say we would never do anything for you,” Fall Guys game designer Joe Walsh said in a comment to the Fall Guys subreddit. The list is called 'Gauntlet Showdown', the regular playlist is now called 'Main Show'. The new roster is only available for a limited time, so the studio can control how many players choose each option and the popularity.
"Right now we need to keep an eye on things like matchmaking times, player welcome, so we're doing this as a somewhat time-limited experiment to see what happens," Walsh wrote. "It's entirely possible that the line will eventually become permanent!" This could lead to the addition of other types of limited-time modes, similar to how game modes rotate regularly in Call of Duty: Warzone and Fortnite.
This new list comes after players' feedback. Team games, especially those with disorganized teams or game breakers, were deemed unfair in the Fall Guys community. Players have regularly asked for a way to remove them from the minigame rotation. Fall Guys Season 2, went live earlier today and brought a lot of new content to the game.
