Apex Legends Season 3 is almost here and Respawn has announced its new season with a brand new trailer. We see that the newcomer Crypto joins the existing Apex Legends roster and creates a new rivalry with Apex Games master Mirage while fighting in the new map of the battle royale game. The trailer for
Apex Legends Season 3 kicked off with a snapshot of Legends' new jump, equipped with individual venues for each character's tastes and a common room where everyone can chat before the game. You can see Octane play Titanfall 2 at 0:09 for a nice Easter Egg .
Both Lifeline and Gibraltar urge Mirage to talk to the newcomer Crypto , only to get the hacker instantly annoyed by Mirage's presence and cocky demeanor. For the argument to go further, Crypto and Mirage are first paired on the same team as Lifeline, so the two decide to continue the race, competing to see who can get more kills. All characters fall into a new map very different from Kings Canyon; It is home to extreme environmental barriers, industrialized city-like environments and a bustling train.
At the end of the trailer, Cryptoand Mirage are much closer to each other, their relationship turning into a more friendly rivalry. The brand new map, World's Edge, was first introduced with Crypto's first in-game skin. It will become Apex Games' temporary home as it fixes the damage done to Syndicate Kings Canyon. As a cinematic, the trailer shows no concrete details about what's coming in Season 3 other than getting a new map and character. However, we're seeing other evidence that Crypto 's abilities are tied to his drone, and that the new Charge Rifle weapon will behave similarly to its Titanfall counterpart.
