If you're a new player, this year is a great time to get into Apex Legends. We're overhauling everything for a first-time player experience. We'll be making improvements to the Shooting Range, adding Fake bombing and stat tracking. Especially for our new players, we will be adding Bots and a new Orientation Match system to our matches so that players can get off their feet. Our goal with Orientation Matches is to create a lower pressure environment where new players can navigate, learn basic mechanics and have a little more room to breathe while learning to play Apex Legends.
A new Apex legend is introduced each season , but the developers decided to develop core characters for the Revelry season. All legends have been recalibrated and the class system has been made to work called "Refactored Legend Classes".
There will be 5 Classes:
Each class will now have some sort of meaningful, unique ability, which can be a Legend's way of interacting with new loot boxes or new ways to revive teammates. This refactoring will help players identify Legends that play or support the team similarly and more easily understand new roles. The Legend Select screen has also been improved with this change.
We'll also be adding a few buffs and nerfs to many Legends, including Lifeline, Seer, and Wraith. Full details of Legend changes will be shared in the patch notes close to Revelry's launch.

It's been a long time since a new weapon has been released, and the wait will be over when Revelry releases a new energy weapon, the Nemesis. We hope to see these potentially non-replaceable favorites like the R-301 and Flatline.
Meet the Nemesis, a new energy class assault rifle that fires four rounds with each burst. With increased detonation delay that reduces the time between blasts and simulates a fully automatic weapon, Nemesis is guaranteed to ruin at least one Legend day of the next match.
This month is also the 4th Anniversary of Apex Legends, and we're celebrating it with the Anniversary Collection Event, which includes a brand new piece of community content rewards and many other celebrations happening in-game, including introductory rewards† for the first two weeks of the season. Week one includes an unlocked Crypto and a Crypto Thematic pack for all players who log in, and week two unlock Ash plus an Ash Thematic pack for all players who log in. Also, each map in rotation will have special decorations.

The Hunter class can enter or exit tight situations faster thanother Legends . They are usually the first to enter the fight or create rotation options for their team. Can detect incoming Care Packages to see the highest value content in them
Bringing a falling package into view or quickly returning to the range of the landing site will help them catch the information early. Additionally, they can see when/what high-value weapons have been captured by others.
♦ Bloodhound, Crypto, Oracle, Vantage
Recon Legends is all about scouting and gathering enemy intelligence about their enemies to give their teams a tactical advantage. These Modified Survey Beacons build on enemy reconnaissance roles, revealing a snapshot of all enemy locations. With this intelligence , Recon players can schedule rotations for their teams to avoid heavy enemy presence or ambush an isolated group. However, this information is risky, as nearby enemies will be warned that the beacon is being used and will know they are being watched. Others far beyond the wide range will still be announced, but will not receive updates.
Controller (Control Specialist)
♦ Caustic, Wattson, Rampart, Catalyst
Controller Legends places items on the field to trap or strengthen their position. They want the enemies to fight them on their own court and to master holding strong positions in the ring. Shifting Circle information to these Ring Consoles ensures that the Legends who care most about the setup are responsible for knowing where they want to take refuge next. Unlike Survey Beacons, which are usually placed higher up, these new consoles can be found throughout the map in more grounded areas in plazas and courtyards.
♦ Lifeline, Loba, Gibraltar, Newcastle
Support Legends has a more team-oriented focus. They seek opportunities to protect, rescue, or supply their allies. In the new class system , the Support role has been expanded, allowing these Legends to stock up on their teams and keep them alive. As visible locations on the map, Blue Bins will provide important rotation options whenever drugs or Survival items are needed.
